What are Items?
Items are the things within See, Scan, Go! (SSG) that you are publishing or managing, and may share with your users, employees, or the general public. Items can take different forms, and make it easy to maintain and manage over time. Items such as web page links or contact cards are powerful as you can adjust many settings and configurations after creating codes, links, and tags to share the item with others.
Items can be updated at any time, and people following Smart QR codes, quick short links, tap tags, or other connectors will always get the latest information. This automatic update ensures that any printed material or distributed links are always accurate, and the users are never disappointed.
All items benefit from the standard SSG features and capabilities, such as tracking and analytics, password protecting destinations, and a range of other capabilities. All items may have multiple connections, such as Smart QR codes, Quick Links, and Tap Tags, giving insight into where people interacted with your items.
The general types of items are described below.
Web Page Link
The web page link is a quick way to send people to any web page or URL on the internet. Although this process can be easy, SSG offers a variety of interesting features. The system can monitor your page to make sure your web page is active, and if not, can automatically direct users or customers to an alternate destination.
Business Card
A business card is a quick way to share contact information to interested people, with information from full name and title through to contact details and address information. The business card can hold as much or little information as desired, and you are in full control of the details presented.

Calendar
Creating a calendar item in SSG lets you create new events and share these out to interested parties. With the ability to let people subscribe to updates, you can be sure that people are fully aware and engaged as new events are posted.
Map Location
Map locations are the ability to share a specific place, whether an address or even just a position on the map. This location sharing is a great way to coordinate teams, when people need to meet up at a specific place for meetings or just a hike in the woods.
With the shared map location, you can change it anytime so when plans change, the team can subscribe to the location and be automatically updated.
Contact Form
Contact forms are a quick way to get information from customers, partners, or users. A contact form a simple and focused, and can be shared through a Smart QR code at a counter, on a menu, or on a receipt. Posting a contact form during an event will make it easy to get feedback from attendees and other environments.
Contest
A contest is a quick way to let people enter a sweepstakes to give away one or more prizes to your customers, friends, or community. Using SSG, you will make it easy for people to enter the contest, and to simply click to pick a winner!
To ensure fairness, SSG will automatically track entries, optionally validate the entries email address, and pick any winners desired.
