Creating New Calendars

Creating a new calendar is quick and easy, and lets you establish the new calendar in your account to share with others. The new calendar, once created, gives you the option to add and update events on the calendar, making it easy to keep people informed of any new activities or updates to be aware of.

A calendar holds one or more events, and so when you create the new calendar, you may then add as many events as you wish. The events will be automatically displayed when somebody views the shared calendar, and the partner, user, or team member will always see the latest events on your calendar.

To start creating a new calendar, select Create a Calendar from the create menu at the top of the screen. You will be taken to the starting point of the process, as shown below.

In this process, you will start by giving your calendar a new title. A title is visible to people the calendar is shared with, so be sure it is descriptive and informative.

Once the title has been entered, click continue to fill in additional information. The next page will allow the base timezone of the calendar to be set, and optionally to assign the calendar to a Business Card already created in the system.

When assigning a calendar to a Business Card, the events will be automatically displayed when the card is shown. So in other words, if you have a business card for your business, you may have a calendar for events you are participating in. This will let you bring it together and share your business card and events in one spot!

Clicking continue allows the calendar to be customized with a header image or a profile-style image. In the example below an image was selected from the library, although new images can be drag and dropped onto the page to upload.

Finally a quick review of the calendar will show what will be created. You have the opportunity to go back, if needed, to correct anything, or click to continue and create the new calendar.

Once created, the calendar details screen will be shown. This screen is what provides the ability to create and manage events on the calendar itself.

The starting calendar details screen is shown below, with the starting default codes as always. As there are no events yet, the page is sparse, and can be easily added and adjusted with the Manage Calendar Events button shown.
